About Kocher

Quality & passion,

Established by Richard and Fulda Kocher, we've been New Jersey's trusted general contractor for nearly five decades. Every nail driven, every wall raised, built on the foundation of family values and honest craftsmanship.

Our Story

Built from the ground up

In 1977, Richard and Fulda Kocher started with a simple promise: treat every home as if it were their own. What began as a small family operation in Hudson County has grown into one of New Jersey's most respected construction firms.

Over 48 years and 400+ completed projects later, that promise hasn't changed. We remain locally owned and operated, with 25 to 50 dedicated team members who share the same commitment to quality that Richard and Fulda instilled from day one.

From kitchen remodels to full new construction, we provide full-service building, construction management, consulting, design, and renovations — always on time and within budget.
